What I hope you get from this, is through an imperfect person; the Lord can do AMAZING, and AWESOME things. I was not always a follower of Jesus Christ. I am ashamed to admit I doubted HIS very existance. In fact I reasoned if HE did exist, then why would HE love me?? Through out the years I battled depression, rejection, weight gain and thought I had no purpose. However, it took the scripture Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."
Admittedly, I do not know if the "prophet before nations" part is me, however I do know is that HE knew me, and through a relationship with in accepting Jesus as my personal Lord and Saviour, He still knows me.
Even though the new year has already started, its never too late to make a change in one's life. My life has already started off running; changes in my family, one child leaving the nest and a new addition in a form of a husband is coming in. Also, embarking a new life style, with changing my diet, and committing wholeheartedly to exercise. I am a lil scared, but I WILL not allow ANYTHING to deter me from what I have set out to do.
This is my life; and I will live it as the Lord says I should, Isaiah 55:11-12 "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. 12 “ For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands."
